Dropped and Unraveled

Y'all, it took me this long to realize I had managed to post the same quiz twice. Sorry 'bout that! I've been brainstorming and plotting a written something (who knows what), so I haven't been blogging at all. I'm headed home to Texas tomorrow, or the day after, or eventually. I'm having the hardest time making myself do anything but sleep and scribble random notes that might some day be a story, if I don't lose them or decide to take up pottery instead.

The minions have been on a tear of destruction lately, so my knitting has fallen behind accordingly. All I've managed to finish is a little head wrap from the new Knitty, because my head was freezing. Of course, the next day and ever since it's been lovely and warm and sunny, so I haven't gotten to wear it yet. I'll take pictures as soon as I get to Texas and don't have to resort to the dreaded mirror shot. My mirrors are so filthy you couldn't see me anyway. That's a sad commentary on both my housekeeping and my general appearance both.

I'm taking a trunk full of dirty clothes and a big box of yarn home. Brace yourselves, I come prepared to stay for about 3 weeks, until Nick has to be back for school. I'm going to see some old friends, escape the minions, and hopefully finish a sweater and a wrap before I go.

We're coming into the last month of the deployment, and time seems to be slowing down. I can't wait for Hubby to come home to spoil me again. He's been calling and emailing more often, so I suspect he misses me too.

Out of curiosity, how many possible projects do you think is too many to drag along for a three week trip? Because I think I might have crossed the line between obsessed and crazy about two ziplocs of yarn ago.

Awww...the hubby gets to come home! YAY! As for the number of projects - 1 is too many for me, but I think that for you there really isn't a limit. I mean take as many as you want and if you get to 'em YAY and if not well, you'll just have to haul them back. Not that big of a deal right?

Cassie! Hi! I feel terrible that I didn't keep in touch, but here we are again, hope you and the minions are well! Did you ever finish the second pomotomous? (I didn't do my second sock, :-( )

Just wanted to say HI!
